As an update to our blog about Elyson last December, recent news from the Houston Business Journal confirmed that Newland Communities, is on track to build its first lots for Elyson during the first half of 2016.
This new 3,642 acre Master Planned Community for Katy, located near Beckendorff Road and Grand Parkway, should be able to deliver the first model home between January and February, and the first production home in March. During the first phase of production of Elyson, builders will complete 800 homes that will span over a decade development plan.
These homes, a mixture of traditional, patio style, townhome, and twin villas, will start at $250,000 to $300,000 but extend upward of $1 million, with lot sizes will vary from 50- to 70-foot lots. Even with the heavy rains this year and oil slump, Elyson’s the grand opening is still on track before the end of 2016.
