Cross Creek Ranch Smart Home Giveaway for Spring

During the month of April, Cross Creek Ranch will be hosting the ultimate home giveaway for new Buyers in Fulshear! Each week of April one new resident will win a smart home technology upgrade with the purchase of a CCR home. Not only will Buyers own a beautiful, master-planned home in prime West Houston, but their home will boast all the bells and whistles of a Halo Smart Home package.

“Whether they are looking for single-family homes, patio homes, custom homes or homes for active adults ages 55 and older, buyers have always been able to find the latest in home designs at Cross Creek Ranch,” said Rob Bamford, Cross Creek Ranch’s General Manager. “Now they can enjoy latest in home technology.”

Cross Creek Ranch has partnered with the Houston-based company, Halo Professionals, to offer this “smart” incentive for spring Buyers. Halo’s smart home package is worth $3,100 and full of interactive security features, such as video monitoring and Z-Wave smart door locks powered by Alarm.com. State-of-the-art motion sensors with built-in cameras allow homeowners to view their property through live feeds to their phones, tablets or computers. Locks can be opened by wireless keypads, an app or  traditional keys.

“Interactive security is essential for today’s modern active families,” said Clay Martin, Chief Executive Officer for Halo Professionals. “We like to say you can ‘control your smart home anywhere you roam,’ so you can receive texts, emails, videos and image alerts for the things that you care about.”

Other features of the package allow homeowners to remotely turn on lights with Lutron intelligent lighting or open and close garage doors with an app. Energy-saving features are also included in the package, like Halo’s smart thermostat that uses sensor data to optimize the home climate.

“Statistics show that 61 percent of consumers are interested in smart home technologies but only 8 percent know how to get it,” Martin said, “which is why Halo is happy to partner with Cross Creek Ranch to educate buyers on their options and give a few lucky customers a free smart home.”
